Important: Location data is only used locally on your device for app functionality. We do not store, transmit, or share your location data with our servers or third parties (except as required for Google AdMob as described below).

We collect device identifiers for advertising purposes, including:

• Device ID (IDFA - Identifier for Advertisers)
• Operating system version
• Device model

• Charging stations you view or save as favorites

This data is stored locally on your device only and is not transmitted to our servers.

4.1 Google AdMob

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in our app. AdMob may collect and use:

• Device identifiers (IDFA)

4.2 Open Charge Map

We use Open Charge Map API to retrieve charging station information. When you search for stations, your approximate location (latitude and longitude) is sent to our backend server, which then queries the Open Charge Map API. No personally identifiable information is transmitted.

5. Data Storage and Security

Local Storage: Most of your data (favorites, search history, preferences) is stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage mechanisms. This data is not transmitted to our servers.

Cache: Our backend server temporarily caches charging station data from Open Charge Map to improve performance. This cache does not contain any personal user information.

Security: We implement industry-standard security measures, including HTTPS encryption for all network communications.

6. Your Privacy Choices

6.1 Location Permissions

You can control location access at any time through your device settings:

• iOS: Settings → Super Charge Finder → Location → Never / While Using the App

Note: Disabling location access will limit the app's ability to show nearby stations, but you can still search for stations in specific locations.

6.2 Advertising Tracking

You can limit ad tracking on your iOS device:

• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Toggle off "Allow Apps to Request to Track"

You can also opt out of personalized ads: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → Toggle off "Personalized Ads"

7. Children's Privacy

Our app is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

9. Data Retention

Since most data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all app data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's data through iOS settings. Our backend server only caches anonymous charging station data, which is automatically deleted after 6 hours.
